ESET questions we get asked
Is ESET better than the antivirus built into Windows?
Managed ESET adds central visibility, consistent policy, encryption options and reporting across every device. Built-in protection is decent, but nobody is watching it or fixing the machines where it has been switched off.
Will it slow our older PCs down?
ESET is one of the lighter suites, which is why we often choose it for fleets with a few ageing machines still in service.
Does antivirus mean we do not need backup?
No. Antivirus reduces the chance of an incident, backup is what gets you trading again after one. We deploy both.
