Sophos questions we get asked
Do we need a firewall if our ISP router has one?
An ISP router filters very little. A Sophos XGS gives you inspection, web control, VPN, segmentation and logs you can actually use after an incident.
What is synchronised security?
The firewall and the endpoint agent talk to each other. If an endpoint shows signs of compromise, the firewall can restrict it automatically while we investigate.
Can you replace our old firewall without downtime?
We stage the configuration in advance and cut over after hours, so the change lands outside your trading day.
